On March 9th Rev. Barry Lynn, Executive Director for Americans United for Separation of Church and State, will speak at Extraordinary Ventures at 2 pm. Rev. Barry Lynn is a nationally known leader and expert on the First Amendment right of the separation of church and state. Lynn has appeared frequently on television and radio broadcasts to offer analyses of First Amendment issues and comment upon school vouchers, prayer at public events, and the current actions of church/state separation by the courts. He has served as lawyer for the AU and ACLU at the Supreme Court Level. Lynn launches the new Orange- Durham chapter of Americans United with his speech March 9th. Rev. Dr. Rollin O. Russell facilitates the event.
Following his talk there will be a panel discussion on church state issues in North Carolina. The panelists are as follows:
