SUMMARY:Against the Tide - documentary
DESCRIPTION:The documentary “Against the Tide” is about two ex-offenders and how their community based support teams made a difference as they faced the challenges of integrating back into society.  There are more than 40\,000 men and women locked up in North Carolina prisons\, and 98% will eventually re-enter society.  This film illustrates how well things can work out when there is true community support to these men and women.  After showing the video we will discuss the film. \n  \nThis talk will be presented via a Zoom session.
