DESCRIPTION:Today’s meeting will feature a short Ted Talk by Kelli Jean Drinkwater\, titled “Enough With the Fear of Fat.” As noted on her TED Talk bio\, Ms. Drinkwater is a multi-disciplinary artist and activist recognized for her creative practice and voice in radical body politics. Following this video\, Maura Breidt will curate a discussion of reactions to\, prejudices against\, and discrimination towards larger people. \n  \nThis meeting is a Zoom “hybrid” meeting.  We will meet at our regular venue\, Extraordinary Ventures\, where the program will take place.  We will also Zoom the program.    If you wish to attend via Zoom\, please email info@ehstnc.org with your first and last name to be registered as an attendee for this program.
