SUMMARY:Peter Singer and Effective Altruism
DESCRIPTION:Hugh Giblin will give a presentation about the ethical philosophy of Peter Singer regarding giving. We will discuss one of his YouTube presentations as well as the “Effective Altruism” movement. Singer is the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics in the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University.   Mr. Giblin is a longtime EHST supporter\, and devoted humanist. \nThis meeting is a Zoom “hybrid” meeting.  We will meet at our regular venue\, Extraordinary Ventures\, where the program will take place.  We will also Zoom the program.    If you wish to attend via Zoom\, please use our contact form to make the request.
