SUMMARY:How Citizens in Johnston County Stopped a Pipeline
DESCRIPTION:Francine Stephenson will speak to us and show us a documentary about how Johnston County stopped the Atlantic Coast Pipeline from coming through their community.  The Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League\, which Lois Gibbs created\, provided a grant to these citizens to help with the fight\, and that was crucial to their success. \n  \nThis meeting is a Zoom “hybrid” meeting.  We will meet at a different venue than our normal one.  We will meet the Carrboro Civic Center where the program will take place.  We will also Zoom the program.    If you wish to attend via Zoom\, please use our contact us form (https://ehstnc.org/contact-us/) to make your request.
