DESCRIPTION:What is the essence of our humanity? The book\, “The Boy in the Moon: A Father’s Journey to Understand His Extraordinary Son\,” by Ian Brown\, is about raising his severely intellectually disabled son. The book explores life and meaning in the context of raising a severely disabled child. Brown\, an atheist\,  asks\, “What is the value of a life like his—a life lived in twilight\, and often in pain?
