I would like to pose a question to EHST members, and others who may read this blog and wish to contribute to the conversation. It is a question that is, I believe, at root ethical. And it is fundamental to http://dworzynska.com/academic-help/ the economic system we are all part of.

The question is: What is the purpose of a business?

What I have in mind, of course, are the companies we interact with in one way or another almost every day. From the dry cleaner around the corner, to the grocery store, to big oil corporations. Some readers of this blog may own their own businesses, and this might give them a somewhat different perspective.

In any case, the question is just about what the basic purpose of all of these different kinds of businesses boils down to.

I have a long answer to the question, but I would prefer to hear from others first. Please let me know your thoughts about this important question.
