What is a Leader?
An Ethical Culture Leader (usually referred to simply as “Leader”) is the term used in Ethical Culture/Ethical Humanism for our humanist clergy. Leaders are trained and certified by the American Ethical Union (the national federation of Ethical Culture/Ethical Humanist Societies). Leader Training includes courses on the history of humanist thought, ethical philosophy, public speaking, organizational development, life-span education and pastoral counseling.
