Einstein’s Religion and Ethical Humanism

September 22, 2019 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Was Einstein religious?  If so, how was he religious?  And what does that have to do with Ethical Humanism, aka Ethical Culture?  EHST will re-broadcast a talk by Joe Chuman, a widely respected leader in Ethical Humanism, in which he argues that not only is Ethical Humanism “religious,” it is a “religion.”  Belief in a god, gods, or spiritual beings is not a requirement in Ethical Humanism, so how could it be considered a religion?  You will want to listen to his talk, and participate in a discussion afterwards about his talk.  (Mr. Chuman will not be present for this event.)
