Ensuring Fair Treatment of Youths Across All Institutions

Peggy Nicholson, Youth Justice Project Director, Southern Coalition for Social Justice will speak about the work of the Youth Justice Project.   That project works to ensure equity, fairness, and justice for youth in high-quality education, juvenile, and criminal systems.  The goal of the project is to ensure that all people and institutions will treat youth with love, empathy, fairness, respect, and dignity, and fulfill their other basic human needs.  You can find out more about the project here: https://www.southerncoalition.org/youth-justice-project/.
