Ethics: Science and the Scientist

The role of science in our society has changed dramatically during the past 100 years. This new role has elevated ethical issues linked to science to a new and very complex level. Obviously this has presented scientists and our society with a new set of challenges. EHST members Atish Sen and Vlodek Gabara will engage each other in a discussion/debate about this topic. Mr. Gabara notes “The two of us would never dream to undertake a comprehensive effort to elucidate these issue but we will try to engage you in a discussion based on few examples which are close to our personal experiences.”
