Gun Violence in America – What You Need To Know and To Do

Sara K. Veety of North Carolina Moms Demand Action will speak about gun violence in America. June 1st is National Gun Violence Prevention Day. Supporters of gun reforms will wear orange June 1-3 to show their support for reasonable laws to stem the level of violence in our schools and communities. Although the CDC has been prevented by Congress from making recommendations regarding gun violence prevention, many nonprofit groups conduct research, and many groups support reasonable gun reforms, such as the American Public Health Association; check out their position on gun violence. There seems to be a myriad of organizations promoting reasonable gun laws. Here are a few:
