Helping Children in the North Carolina Court System

Nicole Roman, Guardian ad Litem District Administrator in North Carolina, will speak to us about the program.  Its mission is to provide trained independent advocates to represent and promote the best interests of abused, neglected, and dependent children in the state court system, and to work expediently toward a plan that ensures these children are placed in safe, permanent homes.  The program exists in every county in North Carolina, and serves more than 15,000 children a year.
