How We Sipped, Danced, and Stumbled Our Way to Civilization

Our meeting will be a symposium on the book, “Drunk: How We Sipped, Danced, and Stumbled Our Way to Civilization” written by Edward  Slingerland.  The book researches the thousands of years that Humankind has pursued intoxication as a means to enhance creativity, build trust, and allow normally antagonistic groups to cooperate for the advantage of all.  Two EHST members will conduct this program, and the QnA portion of our program should be quite lively.

This meeting is in person at our regular venue, Extraordinary Ventures.  Masks are required regardless of your vaccination status.  Masks are available at the greeter’s table.
