Loss of Ethical and Secular Democratic Values in India Under BJP

Ever since the formation of a BJP government in India, since 2014 there has been a steady erosion of ethical behavior and secular democratic values in India. Following their success in the 2019 elections, the Modi-Shah government has adopted an avowed Hindu fundamentalist agenda. Disfranchisement of minorities and revoking citizenship rights of Muslims and Christians is but the latest effort to turn India into a single party Hindu state. EHST member Atish Sen will help us understand the situation in India.
