Our Addiction to Corn

Here in the United States, corn is a big part of our lives. It is all around us and it is here to stay. In the Americas, corn began as a humble wild grass that we domesticated, but now we appear to be as dependent on corn as it is on us. Fred Breidt will explore this relationship, covering the agricultural history of corn as well as the economic, nutritional, and ecological consequences for us all. Bring you own popcorn!
