Understanding Systems of Bias in the United States

We’ve long known about disparities in income, homeownership, college completion across race and ethnicity. But how did these differences come to be, and why have they persisted so long? This talk will explore several competing explanations and then argue that the present disparities can be best understood and solved by identifying the network of systems in our society that perpetuate poverty for the non-white poor. Our guest speaker is DJ Passey.
