Volunteerism as an Antidote to Anxiety and Hopelessness

In our age of anxiety and hopelessness over the many problems we face, action through volunteerism can be an antidote as recently mentioned in the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/23/well/mind/mental-health-climate-anxiety.html.  EHST will feature several members who are volunteering in the community; each will tell what they are doing and why.  Attendees will then be encouraged to share their own volunteer activities.  Suggestions for future actions will also be solicited.
