Working Toward Racial Equity

Racial equity is focused on addressing racism in organizations and communities.  It requires an understanding of the history of racism as well as how institutional racism has created conditions which still prevent people of color from participating equally in our economy.  Stephanie Terry is an activist for racial equity, and has been working in Orange, Durham, and Wake Counties for many years.  She will help us understand where we are and where we need to go in 2018.  She is also an entrepreneur who has her own vegan catering business.
